Group therapy sessions create a space for your child to develop and practice new skills amongst peers and build positive relationships.
Book an appointment arrow_forwardIn group therapy sessions, we give children a safe and respectful space to use their skills, tools and strategies to participate on their terms within their home, school and play environments. Children can work together to problem solve and enjoy time with peers. It’s a great opportunity to form friendships and explore common interests while learning about others.
Group therapy provides an ideal setting for children to learn and refine a wide range of skills. Through engaging activities and guided interactions, children can work on speech and language development, fine and gross motor skills, social communication, sensory integration, and more. Our experienced therapists design activities that target individual goals while fostering a sense of togetherness.
We believe every child has strengths and abilities that deserve recognition. Our therapy sessions are designed to identify and amplify these strengths, helping children build confidence and a positive self-image.
Teaching "social skills" can lead to masking or inauthentic behaviour. Instead, we focus on equipping children with practical skills, tools, and strategies that empower them to participate meaningfully in various environments – at home, school, or play. So children can navigate their world confidently while staying true to themselves.
We foster an inclusive environment where all children can feel comfortable expressing themselves without the fear of judgement. We encourage open communication, active listening, and empathy, allowing children to build authentic connections with their peers.
We run a range of groups throughout terms and intensive programs during School Holidays. Groups are tailored according to the interests, skills and needs of the children in the group so content and activities are flexible to accommodate this.
